Better to side with racial justice and get things occasionally wrong than turning a blind eye to privilege and racism or worse.

My favorite tee shirt when I was still very young living in Chicago was one I saw on a Lake Michigan beach: "It's a Black Thang. You wouldn't understand."

That was probably 50 years ago. Maybe a little less. Still works.
