Baseball analogy is spot on. I follow my team pretty closely, and get into some of the stats. I don't buy merchandise or jerseys, but I know the team well.

When I sit next to a stranger at a game and we chat about the game, or if I'm talking to a friend I go to the game with, I'm always astounded they don't know a player, especially one of the young prospects.

How can they NOT have heard of this guy? He had an OPS of 1.209 in the minors last year. What the hell is wrong with these people?! :-)
