Unrelated but related, one of the most sensual movie scenes for me in film history is the Jimmy Stewart/Donna Reed scene when they're next to each other at the phone and he can smell her hair or whatever. I could have done without his shaking her and yelling at her in the short scene before that — but when they're looking at each other while the hee haw guy is talking (and being ignored by the couple's libido-driven angst), it was intensely sensual.

I've never really been able or even interested in writing a steamy sex scene. Partly because I like all the components surrounding it better, partly because the only porn I've ever watched was when my university showed "Deep Throat" at the university center movie house (the late 70s were different times!), and partly because I just find it too personal and can't get into it from a descriptive POV.
