As an addendum of sorts to this, we need a massive get out the vote effort in those states where progressives are moving. Texas and Georgia are already getting bluer.

Texas seems hopeless, but it is not. Democrats need to learn how to speak to the interests of the Latinos along the Rio Grande, and they could demolish Republicans there. And I don't mean by adopting a harder line on immigration (many Tejanos and multigenerational Mexican families do not like paperless immigration). I mean by speaking to their needs to help their personal situation. In other words, go all out on Biden's various plans.

Georgia, well, we all know what happened there. For every vote Republicans nullify here in Georgia, three or four new progressive voters arrive to counter it.

Colorado used to be a toss up state. It's blue. North Carolina is turning blue. The Republicans lost Virginia way back when.

And now that the Republican Party is now the QAnon Party, they'll fade even more in these purpling states (but unfortunately, these nut jobs will also be making their way into state houses).

But it is vital, absolutely vital, that people continue to be involved in registration and other GOTV efforts.
