As a Christian dude I'm offended. Not by your article, which is dead on, but by modern Christianity, which does not speak at all to Jesus's teachings.

Jesus is almost a dirty word because of these people. As the Orange Puffaloe would say, "Sad!"

Jesus didn't walk among the rich. He walked among the poor, suffering and the prisoners of his day. The sick, the sinners, etc. He made no mention of gender-based sex roles. He didn't even really say anything of interest about sex at all. He did demand from his followers that they reach out to the poor and help them. If he was alive today, he'd be a communist (not a Leninist or Stalinist - a true communist).

I'm not trying to evangelize here. I'm just saying that his teachings were more Buddhist-like than any of the doctrine you'll see expressed by MTJ and her cohort of lunatics.

And, he had no interest in creating a Christian "nation."
