AOC is probably just about the least abrasive, dare I say it, even charming, politician I've ever seen in my 45 years of paying attention to politics.

The points you make about white ethno-fascists certainly have some validity, but I don't think that's what is at the heart of what the far-right hates about her.

They hate her because they fear her. She's the first real progressive politician since FDR to build a following that threatens to engulf the nation.

She is enemy number one - she could be ultimately responsible for reversing Reaganism's 40-year hold on this country and bringing us back to an FDR type of mentality towards government.

Never underestimate machismo and racism, but don't overestimate it in favor of the more obvious truth.

She's a national treasure to many of us, white, indigo, chartreuse, and every other skin shade I could imagine.
