Although anyone who views my writing will note that I'm not a big fan of the military industrial complex, I have great admiration for those who serve. So thanks to you for your sacrifices (as a military family member who had to move around so much), and your dad, who risked so much in his attempt to be one of the adults in the room.

Here's some good news. Your dad probably DID improve things in the Defense establishment in ways we cannot know. His efforts did not go for naught, of that I am almost 100% sure.

Who knows what Trump would have done without those adults in the room these last few years? So thank God for your dad, and others like him.

Let's hope there are still a few of those adults left, because Trump was already unstable, and this election loss seems to be sending him over the cliff.
